Fall at Bushong's Garden Center

While most people think of spring as the best time for planting, avid gardeners know fall is an ideal time to plant. It's an excellent time to plant perennials because the cooler temperatures and increased rainfall help the plant's roots become well-established. The best time to plant a tree is in the fall through early spring when the the tree is under the least environmental stress.

Pumpkins, gourds, ornamental corn and corn shocks are available for fall decorating.

The autumn scene would not be complete without our scarecrow "Willie", who has stood guard every fall for several years to scare off any goblins.
